REINVENTING THE
DOLMEN COLLECTION
FOR BESTSELLER
Located in the heart of Paris’s 9th arrondissement on Rue de Provence, the new Bestseller France headquarters was entirely redesigned by Studio Vincent Eschalier. For this international fashion giant, the challenge was to design an office building that matched its dynamism, capable of reflecting the plural identity of its various brands. The space is thus structured around communal living areas, immersive presentation showrooms, and vast, light-filled workspaces located on the top floors.
Within the framework of this large-scale rehabilitation, Mouvement™ was chosen to take on a major challenge: the design and manufacturing of all the building’s furniture.
To equip the operational spaces, ranging from open-plan bench desks to executive offices, the choice naturally fell on our signature model: the Dolmen desk. To meet the highly precise aesthetic requirements of this project, we pushed the boundaries of our catalogue by offering an exclusive customization. The underside of the tops was subtly rounded, giving the furniture unprecedented fluidity and visual softness. As with all our collections, the dimensions and finishes were fully customized to blend seamlessly with the interior architecture.
The excellence of this collaboration is also illustrated in the meeting areas. For the basement room, we had the privilege of manufacturing an impressive conference table designed by Studio Vincent Eschalier.
This project demonstrates the strength of the Mouvement™ model: our ability to deploy our own range across large volumes (desks, bench desks), while putting the precision of our production tool at the service of an architect’s exclusive design for centerpiece items.
