The Paris headquarters of Snapchat, located just steps away from the Élysée, is the result of an exceptional renovation led by Studio Vincent Eschalier. In this 18th-century private mansion (hôtel particulier), the architect masterfully created a subtle dialogue between historic heritage—with its preserved wood panelling, original moldings, and period fireplaces—and the demands of a world-class tech company. The objective: to design a fluid and creative workspace where classic elegance meets contemporary comfort.
To elevate one of the strategic meeting rooms of this prestigious setting, Studio Vincent Eschalier consulted us with a clear ambition: to integrate a sculptural centerpiece capable of commanding the historic space with majesty, while offering flawless ergonomic functionality for the Snapchat teams.
To meet this challenge, we proposed a completely exclusive adaptation of our Sunday model. Far from a simple iteration, this extra-large meeting table was reimagined and dimensioned “bespoke” to perfectly fit the spectacular proportions of the room.
The choice of material fell upon a sumptuous Verde Alpi marble. This noble material, with its deep veins and hypnotic green hue, contrasts elegantly with the classic brightness of the room. Yet, the true prowess of this achievement lies in the integration of technology: the table was engineered to include access hatches seamlessly machined directly into the stone, concealing complex wiring without ever altering the purity and strength of its organic lines.
This project illustrates one of Mouvement’s core strengths: our ability to directly support demanding clients. By tailoring the dimensions, finishes, and technical features of our collection, we transform an existing design into a bespoke solution, combining cutting-edge ergonomics with an impeccable aesthetic.
